Convenience and Comfort
Our facility is located on the ground level for easy patient access.  We offer valet parking for your convenience.  Our nephrologists' offices are located on the premises which allows for ongoing physician supervision and frequent patient rounds.  The interior design and decor have been tailored to provide a soothing, cheerful and spacious environment for the patients and staff alike.  Our home-like touches, such as fully reclining chair and cable color television at each station, enable patients to relax in a comfortable atmosphere.

Equipment and Technology
At SPDC we are proud to be one of the very few facilities equipped with an on-site generator.  Our hospital grade clinic allows the patient the feeling of security with uninterrupted hemodialysis, during any electrical outage.  SPDC maintains one of the finest water purifying systems available today.

Prescription Dialysis
The dialysis treatment is provided on a "prescription only" basis, geared to each patient's needs.

At SPDC we use new ultrafiltration controlled dialysis machines and the most bio-compatible efficient dialyzers.  Each patient in our program receives their dialysis in strict accordance with their physician's orders.  Because treatments are individually tailored, there is a greater potential for rehabilitation with fewer complications.
 

Peritoneal Dialysis
At SPDC, we also provide CAPD and CCPD which gives the patient the freedom of at home.  We offer a full-time licensed nurse coordinator, and home support 24-hours/day.

Transplantation
All our patients are periodically evaluated for transplantation.  SPDC continues to enjoy an excellent working relationship with the following transplant centers:  Columbia Regional Medical Center S.W. Florida, Ft. Myers, FL and Lifelink Transplantation Institute, Tampa, FL.

Social Worker Support and Dietary Services
Our full-time masters level Social Workers and Dietitian provide knowledge and experience to better serve our patients' economic, nutritional, and adjustment needs.

Excellent Patient/Staff Ratio
SPDC maintains a low patient/staff ratio.  The allows our staff to give more individualized care and provide a high level of comfort for our patients.
